Volume 12 Issue 4, April 2015
What's New in April?
In the middle of all my flower and caladium plantings, I put in my pizza garden. That is where I grow tomatoes, green and red peppers and banana peppers. For good measure, I put in a watermelon and cantaloupe for dessert. I also planted a blueberry and a blackberry bush for those future summer ice cream nights.
I also managed to get four new thimbles done and a set of faux turquoise beads. I am doing spring cleaning, so there have been a lot of things that I have to destash that I am never going to use. Like safety pins, barrettes and other findings that I have amassed over the ages. Sometimes, it seems like a good idea …
While I go through everything, I have started putting some bead kits together that make it simple to design since everything is ready for you. I only have a couple of them up right now, but I will get them put together faster in the future.
Here are some of the faux turquoise beads that are on my website.
More Beads: I am working on a whole new stash of beads, and I am also trying on some new shapes and sizes. I will have more to show next month, but they seem to be going well.
Primetime Emmys: We are getting ready to put our submission together for the gifting suite by GBK and The Artisan Group for celebrities going to the Primetime Emmys. I am not sure what we will be gifting, but it will probably be necklaces this year.
You will find all of my beads, canes and finished jewelry on my website. www.bluemorningexpressions.com
Until next month,
Julie & Blu
Things to Look Forward To:
New Products:
Watches: I finished up two watches, and I have others that are on the design board, which I hope to have finished this month.
Necklaces: I have a lot of new necklaces in the works that are simple chains. I got one parrot necklace done, and it already flew away to a new home.
Thimbles: I got four new thimbles done and up on the website. There are more in the works!
