Woodpeckers and Craters of the Moon

Volume 17 Issue 3, March 2020

What's New in March?

If the wild wind outside my window is any indication, March is shaping up to be a blustery one. We had steady winds (cold ones, at that) the other day that made me think I was back in Montana huddled in a little cabin with a mean Northeast wind blowing out of the mountains. Instead, we were getting pummeled by a Nor 'easterner. From 85 to 50 in a day. We got a wild spring on its way.
In the meantime, I have been in create mode, and in the process of designing new beads. I had a rush of cane sales that sparked my creativity, so I am working on new beads for the spring season. I got some new toys, so I have been playing with resin and UV lights for glass like finishes that do not involve glazes.
On the other hand, I have been planting flowers and other colorful things in my yard. There are four overflowing baskets of purple petunias lining our front porch, and the See Rock City birdhouse is up and swaying in the breeze this morning. I even saw a Yellow Bellied Sapsucker the other day. It’s a busy front yard. Here is our resident woodpecker enjoying a peanut.

What’s New

Pillows: New Bible verse pillows are now part of my spring lineup.
Greeting cards: I am working diligently to get my one word charms translated into greeting cards and cross stitch patterns in the works.
Keychains and Charms: Since I started making keychains, I decided that I should add the charms to my site, so you can buy them separately if desired.
You will find all of my beads, canes and finished jewelry on my website. www.bluemorningexpressions.com
Until next month,
Julie

Things to Look Forward To:

New Products:
Posters: I am working on my one word posters and wall hangings. There are also wood blocks to be added.
Loose Beads: I am focusing on making sets of beads again, so look for more beads to show up in my shop. I am not certain about the canes just yet, but I am planning on them for 2020.
Bead Sets: In addition to polymer clay beads, I want to put together complete sets for beading that include complementary beads, as well.
