Valentine's Day and Rocket Explosions

Volume 17 Issue 2, February 2020

What's New in February?

At this rate, 2020 is going to blast past me! I cannot believe that we have already closed out January and that the robins have already passed through our yard on their way up north where they will soon fill backyards everywhere.

We have been having some cold weather that is more than welcome here, as we need something cold to get some of our plants going. The azaleas are in bloom already, and there are osprey screaming their heads off, which may mean there are baby ospreys out there.

We had our usual backyard seat for the liftoff and destruction of the last rocket launches, but the sky was too cloudy to see it. However, we did hear the explosion and the rumbling down the river, but missed the spectacular sight. If you missed it on TV or in the yard like I did, here is a full run down of it on SpaceX Twitter feed. Do take a listen; it is very exciting.

The fact that SpaceX can land those rockets back on the recovery ships is amazing. As a space junkie, the rocket tests have made life very exciting again. Here is the explosion as seen on the video.

What’s New

Leggings: From mommy and me to Valentine’s Day, I have some new leggings in stock.

Greeting cards: I am working diligently to get my one word charms translated into greeting cards and cross stitch patterns in the works.

Keychains and Charms: Since I started making keychains, I decided that I should add the charms to my site, so you can buy them separately if desired.

You will find all of my beads, canes and finished jewelry on my website.

Until next month,

Things to Look Forward To:

New Products:

Posters: I am working on my one word posters and wall hangings. There are also wood blocks to be added.

Loose Beads: I am focusing on making sets of beads again, so look for more beads to show up in my shop. I am not certain about the canes just yet, but I am planning on them for 2020.

Bead Sets: In addition to polymer clay beads, I want to put together complete sets for beading that include complementary beads, as well.
