Collectible Thimbles and Squeak Ducks

Volume 18 Issue 9, September 2021

What's New in September?

As I write this, Hurricane Ida is bearing down on the Gulf States of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Little Harry’s brother, Bobby Burns, lives in Mississippi, so we’re wishing them well as they get ready to go to higher ground. It’s a very bad storm, and we pray for all the folks in the way.

With hurricane season just ramping up, we’ve been doing a lot around here to get ready for it, so there have been less bead days than tree trimming days. It looks to be an active season—again.

We spent a couple days taking our first vacation in at least two years. We headed home to see family in Illinois and introduce Harry to relatives he hadn’t met. He was the perfect puppy and got lots of pets and treats. He wowed them with his tail wagging and his happy barks.

When all else fails, your pups will bring a smile to your face. May you have a smile when you look at this photo of the traveling dog with his new squeak duck and bucket of treats! Gifts from his friend, Sir Gonze!
