Cozy Mysteries and Powder Puff Bushes

Volume 19 Issue 2, February 2022

What's New in February?

I would love to say that I have hundreds of new beads to post, but that is not the case. In fact, I don’t have anything new to post this month. January was a very busy month for everything but beads. However, I am looking forward to having a little more time off from work, so there should be an uptick in my creativity.

I have been working on a book series, so I have been immersed in that for the time being. I have the first draft of one and part of the first draft of another one in the works. It will be a six book series in the cozy mystery genre. I discovered that I enjoyed reading them and thought I would try my hand at them. I have very little fiction under my belt, so this has proven to be an adventure and a challenge.

I also discovered that when I make a mistake, it’s a huge mistake that takes months to unravel. Hence, the start of the second book before the first one is even finished. I coerced my dear son into trying to unscramble my mess. He’s not fond of the genre, so he is a reluctant alpha reader.  Anyway …

In the meantime, here is some beautiful flowers that are blooming in my yard.
