I am on a gypsy bangle tear! I have 100 feet of silk sari and a wild imagination. This is one of those projects that has been on my “to do” list for a while now, and my silk sari came in today. It is draped over my Ott Lamp looking all exciting and inviting enticing me to come and wrap it around my wrist or head or ankles and dance silly in the livingroom. Blu would like that. That means PLAY! There is just something wild and freeing about a pile of ribbon that begs to be wound into something both useful and decorative.
While I wait for my muse to gather all the components that will go into my newest designs, here are some other gypsy souls hiding in the JCUIN guild on Artfire.

While these do not all have silk sari ribbon, they are all using a mixed media approach to design in jewelry. The addition of leather, cord, silk and ribbon to traditional beads and pendants give these designs an entirely new dimension.
Enjoy!
Julie and Blu
